Dolce Mia



Mia, an American, returns to Italy in search of a lost family heirloom with deep magical significance. Driven by her desire to reconnect with her heritage, Mia embarks on this mission to find the missing piece of her family puzzle. Nico, not watching where he walks, unexpectedly runs into Mia on the sidewalk, becomes an essential ally on Mia's journey. Entranced by his own reflection, Nico invites Mia to indulge in tiramisu at the bakery, where he will one day inherit the family legacy passed down through generations. They connect in their similarities in their love for their family legacy, Mia opens up to Nico about her search and he agrees to help her in this quest. "Dolce Mia" is a magical journey of self-discovery, family bonds, and the timeless importance of heritage, set against the backdrop of the picturesque streets of Florence, Italy.


Director Biography - Keeley Turner

Keeley Turner has worked in Virtual Reality Production for seven years. She is the CEO of a company she founded, Metaverse Stage, INC, located in the greater Los Angeles area. She is an award-winning XR Filmmaker. She has directed and created many VR projects for Meta, WSJ, Dior, Canon, PETA, Netflix, Top Gear, Verizon, Virgin Voyages, and Ford. She works with her co-founder, Hugh Hou, a well-known director of photography in the VR space, to create VR narratives, music videos, and experiences in this new medium. In her line of work, they can travel around the world, creating VR experiences in places including the Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Spain, France, and Italy, to name a few. Her goal as an XR director is to entertain through storytelling while inspiring our audience through immersive cutting-edge technology.

"In the genesis of conceiving 'Dolce Mia,' I found myself immersed in the profound exploration of my familial roots, tracing back my lineage that extends all the way back to 15th-century France. The contemplation of the individuals who preceded us, navigating the tapestry of their existence replete with triumphs and tribulations, evokes a profound sense of fascination. It is the acknowledgment that their lived experiences, their resilience in the face of adversities, and their moments of unbridled joy have collectively contributed to shaping the essence of our present selves. 'Dolce Mia' serves as my eloquent testament of gratitude, a lyrical expression of admiration extended to the ancestors whose indelible influence resonates through the corridors of time, underscoring the profound interconnectedness that binds us to the tapestry of our familial history." - Keeley Turner
