This is a Care of the elderly Thematic docudrama 20 min. filmed targeting young and middle age audiences to plan for longevity. The three main principle areas of concern towards a good quality of life are avoiding isolation / loneliness in old age, access to quality healthcare and financing aging and longevity. Other aspects interwoven in the flow are best gift of education that parents can give to children. This docudrama was produced and directed in Kenya and achieving the United Nations SDG1 ending poverty in all its forms everywhere hinges on the specifics of poverty in old age. The care for the elderly is a universal theme that applies to people of all walks of life and allows for critical thought, reflection and connection.

CONCEPT OF THE SUBMISSION:“Timeless Grace” film focuses on the care of the elderly thematic and incorporates various creative prompts to convey its message.The storyline includes elements such as financial planning for old age, healthcare, ongoing and education for children, tackling loneliness and societal interactions.The film targeting younger audiences, aims to provide a holistic perspective on life and emphasizes the need for attitude change towards ageing and to anticipate longevity.The docudrama depicts peer pressure amongst youth to embrace their interdependence with the elderly and to achieve harmony by the transformational power of proactive planning for a good quality of life during old age, inspiring viewers to value the ‘care for the elderly’ concept.By showcasing an African context and highlighting common challenges and joys among elderly individuals from different cultural backgrounds, the film also introduces the conception of pluralism.The ending closed captioning allows viewers to reflect more broadly on the theme.
